Your simulation and browser storage
Hardware and model calculations run in your browser. We do not send your simulation settings, ROI inputs, saved benchmarks or dataset edits to an AI model to produce the estimates.
The browser stores your settings, currency, comparisons, pins, benchmarks, dataset overrides and saved off-the-shelf computers so you can return to them. New custom builds stay in memory for the current session and disappear when the app reloads. Older custom builds saved by earlier versions may remain in your existing browser data.
This storage is not an online account or backup, and has no automatic expiry. Clear the website’s local storage in your browser to remove it. See Cookies & local storage for the storage names and controls.
Computer links and catalog submissions
When you ask us to read a computer product link, the URL is sent to our server. The server requests the public product page and returns a draft of its specifications. The retailer or manufacturer sees a request from our server; this feature does not make your browser load that product page. Following an external link yourself is different: the destination website receives your visit under its own privacy practices.
When you save and suggest an off-the-shelf computer, its name, source URL, hardware profile, memory, price, submission identifier and date are stored on our server for review. Approved product records become visible to other visitors. Pending records are not part of the public catalog. Custom builds are not submitted to it.
Submit product facts, not personal information. Avoid names of people, private order links, account identifiers, access tokens or confidential information in names and URLs. If a record contains information about you, contact support@llm4fun.com with the product link or record identifier.
Product records are kept while they are pending review or part of the catalog; there is currently no automatic deletion period. Rejected records can be removed by the operator. Your browser’s copy is separate from the server catalog. Where reviewing and maintaining the catalog involves personal data, the basis is our legitimate interest in providing an accurate, safe product resource; this does not authorise unrelated use of personal information in submissions.
Optional usage analytics
If Google Analytics is configured and you choose to allow analytics, Google receives information about page visits and browser activity, including cookie identifiers, browser and device characteristics, and network information. The integration sends approved website paths, without query strings or fragments; computer product links, names and simulation input values are not deliberately included in analytics events.
Your browser’s requests to Google reveal its IP address to Google at collection time. Google explains how Analytics uses IP-derived location information and discards IP addresses before logging analytics data in its regional privacy documentation. This does not make the initial request anonymous.
We do not enable advertising consent, Google signals or advertising personalisation in this integration. Google may process data outside your country. Its processing and transfer arrangements are described in Google’s partner-site privacy information.
Optional analytics uses your consent. You can withdraw it below. Withdrawal stops subsequent analytics collection from this site and clears its accessible Analytics cookies; it does not automatically erase data already received by Google. Analytics cookie expiry and the separate retention of data within the Analytics account are different settings.
The Analytics account’s event-data retention has not yet been published. It must be verified before analytics is activated for a public launch.
Optional analytics can be turned off at any time. The simulator still works.
Operating and protecting the service
Like other websites, the hosting infrastructure receives technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser headers and response status. Hosting and security services may log this information to deliver pages, diagnose faults and prevent abuse.
Where this involves personal data, the basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the service you request, maintaining reliability and protecting it against misuse. This processing is limited to those operational purposes. It is separate from optional analytics, which requires your consent.

No account or payment details are required by the simulator. It does not make legal or similarly significant decisions about people.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can use the simulator without optional analytics, change your cookie choice, clear your browser data, and choose not to submit a computer to the catalog.
Where data protection law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of personal data; to object to some processing; and, in qualifying cases, to receive a portable copy. These rights depend on the processing and applicable law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Send requests to support@llm4fun.com. Include enough information to locate the relevant record, but do not send identity documents unless they are necessary and specifically requested. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In Sweden, this is IMY, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.
