Choose what you allow
Choose “Reject optional” to keep analytics off, or allow analytics if you want to help us understand website usage. You can revisit the same controls from any page. Ignoring the banner does not grant consent.
Cookies are small browser records that can accompany web requests. Local storage is another way to keep data on your device; it is not automatically sent with every request. Both are described here so you can understand the complete browser-storage picture.
Storage that supports your requested features
Simulation settings and saved data
local-ai-hw-sim:v1Remembers settings, ROI inputs, comparisons, saved off-the-shelf computers, benchmarks and dataset edits. Earlier versions’ saved custom builds may also be present. New custom builds are temporary and are not added to this record.
Duration: until you clear this website’s browser data. Local storage has no automatic expiry. Purpose: retain the simulator state you use and save.
Your analytics choice
llm4fun:consent:v1Records whether you allowed analytics, the choice version and the time you chose. It is used to respect your preference, not to identify you across websites.
Duration: the choice is valid for 180 days, after which we ask again. If local storage is unavailable, a session-storage fallback may remember your choice for the current tab. Clearing browser data can make the banner appear again.
Optional Google Analytics cookies
When you allow analytics and a measurement ID is configured, Google Analytics may place first-party cookies on this website’s domain. Their data is used by Google to provide usage statistics to the operator.
Visitor and session measurement
_ga_ga_<measurement-id>_ga distinguishes browsers; the measurement-specific cookie maintains session state. This integration requests a 180-day expiry and disables expiry refresh on subsequent activity. Browsers can impose shorter lifetimes.
The site’s cookie settings can stop analytics and clear the Analytics cookies it can access. You can also remove cookies in your browser. Cookies blocked or shortened by browser privacy tools may affect measurement.
For information about Google’s handling of the resulting data, including IP-derived location and processing abroad, see our privacy notice and Google’s cookie documentation. Cookie expiry is not a promise about how long Google retains analytics reports.
Clearing data and using privacy controls
Your browser lets you inspect and delete cookies and local storage for llm4fun.com. Clearing site data removes saved simulation settings and your cookie preference. It does not withdraw a computer already submitted to the server catalog; contact the operator about that separately.
The simulator can still calculate when browser storage is unavailable, but changes may not survive a refresh. Settings do not synchronise automatically between devices or browsers.
